VR Discussion Thread
Cool. You are super time efficient. Good luck with that. I will give it a read tomorrow.

Goodness. I am at a loss for words.

BTR is heading for a record day. A massive record day. It is being discussed on 4 big sub-reddits simultaneously.

Cloudflare (our server) says we use 7.4 GB of bandwidth so far today with well over 10,000 unique visitors since it was posted.

If we didn't have Cloudflare (who is serving the same 3 pages over and over again), the Blue Host server would have crashed by now.

Did someone say VR is "niche" only last night?

I beg to differ.

Good for you, apoppin. VR has a lot of professional applications. And AFAIK you are the first person to benchmark RTX in VR and you are probably the only person on earth who can do it properly.

It sounds like you have another review coming out this week also. You're doing a great job of growing the site.

I'm probably the only one who cares to benchmark VR. It is definitely more difficult than benching pancake games. Everything needs to be precise and repeatable. I finally got used to it just when I got sick. Now I am back to it.

Thank-you.

Check back Thursday morning.

I am just having fun!

The Vive Pro is on sale for a limited time until Monday .... It's $200 off ...

... $1199 Beee

. . . but still really expensive. I would still buy a Rift for 1/3rd the price.

I hate saying this, but the Rift in its current form is a dead product. These are going to get even cheaper and then I predict they will be discontinued, sadly.

How is it "dead"? Games are still being made for it, it is still supported with updates, and new Rifts are being made and sold.
