Thank-you.

Actually, being retired doesn't mean a thing to me ... my retirement income frees me from other work I used to do as a sign painter and it gives me decent health coverage through Medicare. And I no longer have my mother to care for. So I can "work" as hard at my hobby as I ever did - and it doesn't feel like working at all (except for parts of it where there is a deadline and a lot of complex writing to do; maybe 10% is not "fun").
Thinking

It's true, if I had continued to work, I probably would be much sicker than I am now .. I **had to** take a break from just about everything I used to do, and I spent many (many dozens of) hours researching my condition, and hundreds of hours in the kitchen working on creating combinations that would get me well ,,, only food, exercise, and supplements have any chance of working. There is nothing the medical establishment can do for me other than to put more synthetic chemicals into my system and to treat (and suppress) symptoms.

What the heck can they do for someone that has extremely high blood pressure that drops extremely low - but not on a regular cycle? Their medications would kill me. And unless they research the latest information, most medical doctors are completely unaware that Contrast Media can have long-lasting effects.

I guess I am just really impatient with my progress ... but then 9 weeks is a long time .. especially to an old guy itching to go back to his hobby.

And you might want to check this out .. some cool VR tech is coming including a real upgrade of the Oculus Go

Thank-you. VR continued pretty well after dinner. Let's see what happens today (after a decent night's sleep which has been rare). It's still one day at a time .. and sometimes one hour at a time. However, I have 4/5 days scheduled this week for therapy/medical appointments ... it takes SO much time out of my week. But it beats spending $2500 for a rushed 10-day Hawaiian "vacation"

What about AR?

Digg.com found the Magic Leap demo, "disappointing".
. . . NOTHING like their earlier demo

This is what it really focuses on:

The whole presentation:

It looks like AR is a long time off

(longer than Jensen's "long time: :P )
