What's happening at BTR 3 .. and report issues here
Well, I am still not done. I didn't realize that I would be so busy on Christmas Eve, But I got everything done on my personal list except for the driver performance evaluation. I even watched Interstellar (great sci-fi movie!) last night (free with Amazon Prime).

So I will publish it tomorrow since I am staying home. And I will try to expand it and make it more interesting than usual, so I am taking my time with it. It is relevant now since it covers the latest AMD and Nvidia drivers with the 4 latest games so I am no longer under pressure. The it's on to the Grado SR 60e and to my backlog of games.
Cool
Finally!

Sadly it did not publish to the forum
:(
Wow! Awesome article! Absolutely awesome! IMO that's the best article you have ever done. You went in depth for all of the games and you included a ton of data including the minimums. I can tell you worked really hard on it. Great job! I really enjoyed it.

Thank-you very much

I had an extra day and a half with it. This time there was no pressure to get the article out quickly (as it was already out of date, and I just needed to update it minimally to make it relevant again). And I would like to add minimums to my benchmark results but I don't want to clog the Big Picture with an massive overload of information. Next time, minimums will still be reserved for the smaller charts.

And now I have to look for typos and little errors that I missed. I seem to find them best after it is published as looking at the preview pre-publication never seem to catch them for me.
:(

Then I can get to the Grado audition and maybe play video games.

Hey what's going on with the traffic?

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/babeltechreviews.com

654,390

Does it really vary that much day by day? Do they calculate their figures on a daily basis or do they average the data over time? Something doesn't seem right.

BTR's metrics are now certified. Which means it is now (supposedly) accurate. We are getting less traffic than I thought.

I got this email from Alexa yesterday]
Quote:Your Alexa Traffic Rank for babeltechreviews.com based on Alexa Certified traffic data is now available

At any rate, I have my work cut out for me. I am already making changes to improve my benching .. and planning to review more hardware (besides driver & game performance analysis) But I am not worried as I am giving BTR another year before I will consider advertising (anyway)
Cool
Too bad. It is still way up compared to where it was before though. I think you were over 1,000,000 not that long ago.

Yes it is up. And the daily traffic is also up this week. Even my latest 4-game review is on Google right away and picking up hits.

Still ... 320,000 looks a lot better than 600,000. But I'd rather know exactly where BTR stands.

I think that I am going to benchmark Arma III again. It is working fine now on Windows 10 and it has a very dedicated following.

I am dropping these six games for sure:

Call of Pripyat, the Secret World, Hitman Absolution, BioShock Infinite, the Crew, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I think I will also drop Sleeping Dogs (which needs supersampling to be even relevant) which is not popular and no longer being updated (August, 2012 is it's launch date) and replace it with Arma III which is a much newer game that is continually being updated and patched and expanded.
Hey what about Star Wars Battlefront? Apparently it has great graphics, it might be a demanding benchmark for you. It's quite expensive though. People are saying you can get it from the Mexico Origin for much cheaper.

I thought the focus was mostly Multiplayer with solo challenges. They are never ideal for benching unless there is a built-in bench which I don't believe it has

And it *was* $35.99 during Origin's Christmas Sale :P

But now it appears to be off the Holiday sale

:(

IF it goes back on sale, then I can pick it up to replace BF4.

I could also replace Battlefield 4 with Hardline for $15 but it is another MP game.

And IF I could figure out HOW TO benchmark FIFA 16, I would also buy it ... but I never could bench FIFA 15 reliably,
