It's working here for me. Have a look:

That's from the latest VR article.

I replied to the AMD Advocate and it posted in real time ...

I don't think anything is wrong
Thinking

SSDs are on the truck for delivery.

As I install Win 10 on the new drives, I think I will build my Skylake PC during the waiting time - I still have to perform that evaluation vs Coffee Lake

Well, the plain text comments on that article briefly loaded for me, then the Disqus loading icon, then the same message of "We were unable to load Disqus. If you are a moderator please see our troubleshooting guide."

It's working for me fine as I am dealing with an AMD Advocate right now.

However, I sent your issue again on to Mario for him to check out. I'll keep you updated.

I am dealing with an AMD advocate also. You are right. They have regrouped.

Indeed. AMD Vega cards are probably coming into stock as bribes again for the Advocates.

I see this same Advocate on Reddit and (I think) HardOCP. He is working hard to try and discredit my review even though he hasn't any clue about VR.

Just ask them about the unicorn driver for Vega they were promising. Instead the latest drivers are broken. :D

One of them were complaining that I used the latest 17.12.2 Adrenalin drivers - He said I should have used *older* drivers because the latest weren't so good for VR

https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/31484045/
Quote:I was waiting since August for them to do a follow up article about VR performance. Then they finally get around to doing the article and they don't use the best performing drivers. The Adrenalin drivers bring lots of features but have been very buggy, even breaking Dx9 games and they have lower performance than the 11.4 ones.
He was waiting since August. It wouldn't be good to run the benchmarks again in September. I usually wait for several driver releases and Adrenalin is WHQL. I even used the .2 version with the bug-fixes. The good news is that I will revisit VR again in the Spring - but this time with 20 benchmarks.
:nerd:

They will grasp at *anything* in an attempt to discredit independent reviews. Heck, I think Vega 64 made some nice improvements over 4 months ago. At this point, the Vega 64 LC is pretty close to the 1080. In August, it was matching the GTX 1070. Clearly the Radeon VR drivers are improving - slowly, but it is steady progress.

I just report the benchmark results. Everything is set up consistently ... and I am entering my 10th year of professional benching. September will be my 10th anniversary as an Editor-in-Chief; ABT was established by October 1, 2008.

The main REASON that we are seeing the Advocate/Red Team resurgence here is because BTR's VR article did very well - traffic is through the roof for the past 24 hours. A first for a VR review. It crossed over to the general tech readership. And it covered Fallout 4 VR which AMD seems to be especially proud of.
;)

Now the Advocates have found the Oculus sub

The article is being discussed on the AMD sub and it is at the top of the popularity chart there

He doesn't like that I mention that AMD's stealth marketing is in full force in the comments and feels somehow that it is directed at him. But I had to correct the lies about using only 800 MHz memory clocks for Vega 64 - the screenshot is of the Vega 56 at 800 MHz; the 64 is at the default 945 MHz for the LC edition.
